Aaron Rodgers sets records in every game he plays. He also records all his interviews. And he’s curious why other athletes, and anyone who talks with the media don’t.

"It's something that I've been doing for a while now and I think it's important to have that second recording, so if someone's trying to take something you said out of context, you can go back and say, 'Wait, wait, hold on!' " Rodgers explained on an appearance with The Dan Le Batard Show.

"It’s a way that if you’re in a one-on-one situation, there’s no gray area. What you said is what you said and there’s not a way to take your words and move them around a little bit.”

Rodgers said it wasn’t about whether or not he trusted reporters to get his quotes right, but he’s frustrated by how the media uses the content.

"I just think there’s so much stuff on TV now and there’s just not a ton of content, so the littlest stories become a talking point with five people at a table debating things and it just seems like...people who can talk the loudest and talk nonsense and make the most ridiculous statements to try to grab viewership," Rodgers stated.

"In the same boat, it’s these clickbait headlines that really have nothing to do with the gist of the story, but if they can do something that just is on the fringe of what actually was said in the story to get the most clicks, well, that’s gonna be the headline."

That's one of the insights that let us know we were really on to something in the early days of Blinder. Because if Aaron thinks he needs to, thousands of others should be doing so too.

PR managers can immediately adapt Blinder to their workflow and their clients’ abilities. It's easy and fast to start, schedule, and connect on calls. And calls can be scheduled without sharing personal information, so PR managers can connect media directly with their clients’ mobile phones without worry. It’s that peace of mind that makes Blinder the most trusted interview management tool in sports leagues across the world, including the NFL, international football, AFL, NCAA, America’s Cup, and motorsports.
